These songs comprise some highlights of Michael Cullen’s 2023 musical output. Amongst providing lead and backing vocals for (disability arts organisaton) Honeybee Creative’s “the Year Of The Unicorn” album, Michael spent time in the HBC studio engaged in an experimental collaboration with music facilitator and producer Stephan Beattie.

Unable to physically put pen-to-paper anymore, Michael turned his attention to improvised stream-of-consciousness poetry. Responding to live arrangements using Ableton, Michael was able to write songs despite his disability. The editing and arrangement process was colaborative and everyting was produced in-house at the Honeybee Creative studio in Kandanga QLD.
