Mary Valley local Nathan Roy was first inspired by his grandfather’s photography practice and is lucky to come from an artistic family who have broadly encouraged him to follow his muse.
A person of many interests, Nathan is a crack archer currently in training for the 2028 LA Paralympics.

On Friday 9 February, Nathan went out to Belli Ck and took these photos. Landscape photography is most definitely his thing. He has a great love for light and atmospherics which he brings out in the studio in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
“I try to see what is beyond me, to find the picture that is perfect. It may take 100 pictures to find the right one but at the end of the day it may only take one to get the right one that’s perfect”.
