for the Disabled canteen, work tirelessly creating a beautiful morning tea and serving hot drinks to the riders and their

carers.”

The image captures the warm face of her subject in “The Canteen Queen” picture displaying a softness and generous nature with hands softly clasped and a subtle smile. The almost empty plates and the awaiting cups show the limitless energy given by

volunteers, as well as the abundant tea and sweets on offer. We were delighted that Donatta and her carer Rachel could make it to Brisbane from Gympie to receive her certificate.

Donatta has chosen Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) as the lucky recipient of her $2,000 donation generously provided by our Photo Challenge sponsor Queensland Public Trustee
